Here at Mobile Phones Direct we’re taking a sensible approach to this evolving situation by following all Government advice in the UK. All of our staff here at Mobile Phones Direct are working remotely and we are in constant discussions with our manufacturers about the supply of products to make sure our customers can get what they need with us; and we are ensuring our contingency plans are up to date so that we’re prepared to manage any future disruption should Government advice change.

We are continuing to deliver to customers but please inform us in advance if you are self-isolating or if you might be at risk of contracting or have contracted coronavirus (Covid-19) as we might have to arrange a special delivery.
To minimise risks to you and DPD’s delivery drivers, all deliveries must be taken at your doorstep.
Our partners’ drivers have ensured us they are following all Government guidance with regards to this. DPD, who deliver 95% of our products, have confirmed they have set up a contact free delivery service ensuring our customers receive their Handset/SIM of choice in the safest way possible. At this time DPD has taken the decision to suspend their Pickup service so you must make sure you are available to accept delivery of your new Phone/SIM from your home. It’s business as usual unless you are self-isolating, in which case, if the item is unused, you have 14 days in which to return the product.

That’s highly unlikely and there’s no need to worry unnecessarily. We are following all the Government guidance and working closely with our manufacturers to continue serving our customers and looking after our people.
