What is 5G?
5G is the fifth generation of mobile networking following on from 2G, 3G and 4G. Currently many people will be familiar with 3G and 4G networks but 5G promises to bring faster speeds and increased capacity amongst other things.
Why is it so good?
You can stream more with less buffering, download videos much faster, forget about lags when gaming, receive an overall better service, have better quality video calls and so much more.
How fast is it?
In short – FAST. It’s been reported that in peak times, 5G speeds could be up to 100 times faster than 4G services!
When can I get it?

Will I get it on my phone?
Unless you have recently purchased a brand new 5G phone then no. You will need to have a phone that enables 5G standard, it will not work on 4G standard phones. This is something that we will be stocking very soon so keep your eyes peeled!
