The Doro 8050 has a simple 5.45-inch touchscreen that makes getting from your contacts to your camera a piece of cake. You’ll easily be able to hear it ringing from another room thanks to the loud and clear sound, while the 13MP rear camera lets you take some fun pictures when you’re out with friends. It comes with Google Assistant too, so you don’t even need to set a timer or add an event to your diary by yourself, as you can just ask Google to do it for you. Around the back there’s a Doro assistance button, which when you press sends an alarm and your location to contacts that you’ve assigned to your circle of care. Whoever gets to it first will be able to speak to you straight away on speaker phone, meaning you won’t have to be worried about lifting the phone to your ear. And if you’re worried about setting it all up, the guided discovery feature will talk you through it every step of the way.

Doro 8050

The Doro 8050 smartphone cuts out the fluff and leaves you with a simple handset for everyday use. The 5.45-inch touchscreen means you’ll have no trouble scrolling through texts or launching apps. So, if you want to take a picture or two while you’re out and about with the fantastic 13MP rear camera, it’s just a swipe away. You’ll never miss a call either. The special speaker means you’ll hear it ringing loud and clear, as well as friends and family on the other end.

Got some important errands or appointments coming up? Google Assistant can help. All you’ve got to do is ask, and it’ll add a reminder for you. Plus, for some extra peace of mind, the assistance button will go through your contacts in an emergency and send them an alert, telling them exactly where you are.

If you’d like to see some other models in this series, we’ve also got the Doro 5516 or the Doro 6620. Whichever you decide on, we offer great deals and next day delivery.

As for contracts, you can choose one from some of the leading networks in the UK, including Vodafone. Or there are SIM-free options available if you want to use your own card.
