Okay so hear us out, we don’t know much. But, what we do know is that as our cherished summers typically come to an end, we usually get to hear all about Apple’s upcoming tech. And somewhere amongst it all is normally a shiny new iPhone for us to get excited about. Yay! Nothing’s been confirmed yet, but that doesn’t mean we can’t prepare ourselves, right?
Apple have announced that their event will be held on Tuesday 14th September 2021 at 6PM BST. Watch it live through this link: https://www.apple.com/apple-events/

It sure does seem like Apple are the masters of secrecy at the point – some would say that the way they keep their classified info classified is enough to put the CIA to shame. Moving on…
In terms of the different versions that we can expect, Apple brought out 4 versions of the iPhone 12 this time last year. To quickly recap, we had the standard iPhone 12, the Mini, the Pro and the Pro Max. They also switched up the design and brought in a much slimmer bezel than the one on its predecessor, the iPhone 11. The 12 was also slightly slimmer, smaller and lighter – our pockets were glad of that one. They could stick with something similar this time around, or they could even reinvent the wheel again.
The iPhone 12 gave us so many lovely colours to pick from too. We had the classic graphite, silver, gold and blue options for the Pro and Pro Max models, as well as the funky red, green, purple, blue, white and black choices for the standard 12 and Mini. You never know, we might be blessed with a whole new colour palette soon…
What features will the next iPhone have?
Ahh, now we’re getting onto the good stuff. We’ve no idea what features the new and improved iPhone could come with, but Apple have constantly been at the top of the game when it comes to their iPhone cameras. They always come with brilliant front and rear lenses, so that’s something we can count on (we think).
Just this month, Apple gave us a sneak peak of their brand new iOS 15 mobile operating system which is due to come out this autumn. If it doesn’t make it onto the new iPhone, we can expect to see the iPhone 12’s impressive iOS 14 reappear.
The iPhone 12 was 5G ready and came with a USB-C to lightning port too, so again, we’re expecting to see these on the new launch. And, if you’re ready to make some holiday memories abroad (finally), there’ll probably be a few storage options to suit what you need. In the past, we’ve been able to choose between 64GB, 256GB and 512GB of storage. That’s a lot of snaps.
How much will the next iPhone cost?
The truth of the matter is, we just don’t know. That being said, we work with Three, Vodafone and O2 to bring you competitive pay monthly contracts that are great for helping you spread the cost.
