That’s right! Apple will be introducing iOS users to hundreds of new emoji, enabling us to express ourselves in even more ways than before. We’ll be seeing things such as various new animal, mythical creatures, new foods and more!
Apple has also mentioned the inclusion of characters that were mentioned on World Emoji Day.
It’s seems that the iOS vs Android battle continues! This announcement comes not too long after the release of Android Oreo, an Android software update for 2017 which also saw the addition of brand new emoji, moving away from their ‘blob’ style emoji to a somewhat more ‘standard’ look.
This update will become available in the soon-to-come iOS 11.1 software update from Apple.
