Bluetooth Phones

Bluetooth lets you connect your mobile phone to accessories, computers or other handsets without using wires. It’s often used to link a hands-free headset to a mobile phone, although it also offers a way of sending music, photos and video clips between two mobiles. As well as being used in mobile phones, Bluetooth is now used in GPS navigation devices, in laptop computers, in printers and even in some digital cameras.

Bluetooth Stereo

The wireless technology, named after tenth-century Danish king Harald Bluetooth, has become a popular feature in many mobile phones. Some music phones even support Bluetooth Stereo – technically known as the Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) – which lets you use wireless headphones to enjoy music files that are stored on the phone.

Most Bluetooth devices will work up to ten metres apart. This means choosing a Bluetooth phone doesn’t just equip you with the latest technology – it’s also an easy way to keep your phone safely in your pocket when you talk hands-free!
