Contract Mobile Phones

If you want the best possible value for your calls, you’ll want to look at a ‘pay monthly’ contract for your mobile phone. In return for committing yourself to a regular monthly payment and a minimum contract term – usually 12 months, 18 months or 24 months – you’ll be able to choose a handset at a subsidised price as well as a monthly allowance of calls and text messages.

Monthly Contract Mobiles

When you make more than a couple of calls every month, you’re better off choosing a contract phone. Not only will you save money, you’ll also benefit from a wider range of services offered by your chosen network. Bills are usually paid by direct debit, so you’ll never run out of credit or forget to top-up your credit.

There’s plenty of choice when you’re looking at ‘pay monthly’ contracts. Each of the UK’s major networks offers a variety of tariffs, making it easy for you to find a package that suits the way you use your phone. And when your contract ends, you can simply stay connected or you can keep your number and upgrade to a brand new phone with Mobile Phones Direct.

Keep Your Number

If you need to keep your existing mobile number you will need to provide us with a number portability code called a ‘PAC code’ (available from your network) so that we can transfer your number to the new network. If you want to stay with your existing pay monthly network, then you can keep your number, but you will need to choose the Pay Monthly Upgrade option and price. With an upgrade there will be no change to your pay monthly number or billing, and your contract period will simply be renewed.
